Linguistic landscape of Basel
Based on a research seminar at the University of Basel in fall 2021, a collaborative publication on the Linguistic Landscape of Basel has been written. Together with Master's students (Master's Program Language and Communication) and PhD students, we created an extensive corpus of over 1500 signs collected in two neighborhoods of Basel: Matthäus and Gundeldingen, using the application Lingscape. In our paper, recently published Open Access in the Boletín Hispánico Helvético, we offer a theoretical and methodological overview of our research, and we present our corpus.
