Linguistics at high schools

The Spanish Linguistics team of the Seminar für Iberoromanistik at the University of Basel has developed a new offer for Spanish classes in high schools in the region. It consists of three thematic modules that allow to work with students on different aspects of the Spanish language: its diversity in the world, idioms, as well as discourse markers of Mexican Spanish. The goal of this new initiative is to bring our fascination for the Spanish language into the classrooms of Schwerpunktfach Spanisch and to allow students to get to know the discipline of linguistics in a playful and interactive way.

We hope that many Spanish teachers will be interested and open the doors to their classes for us!
