Parque Nacional de Malabo
It is unbelievable how fast this month that we have been to Equatorial Guinea has passed. On 7th March we returned from Bata to Malabo and for the first time since we arrived in Guinea, we treated ourselves with a little bit of sightseeing. Together with two friends we visited the National Park of Malabo, a large green enclosure with many trees, some small lakes and a square with monuments representing the different ethnic groups of Equatorial Guinea. It seemed like we were the only ones in the whole park… According to what our friends told us, only on Sundays there tend to be a lot of people. After the park we went to have a drink in a small typical bar here, enjoying the everyday atmosphere of the city of Malabo, where we almost felt at home.
